Fresh Ham & Salad Wraps
Whether your feeding a 5 year old or a 15 year old, this is a crowd pleaser for school lunch. They can be made with lots of each ingredient or scaled down for the younger kids. If you have a variation of ages this becomes easy to give them half each or half to the younger one and 1 and 1/2 to the older ones.
These quick simple ingredients take no time to throw together, kids love them as they are easier to eat than salad sandwiches.
Ingredients
1 wholemeal Lebanese or pita bread (flat bread/wrap)
2 slices ham
1/4 cup carrot (grated)
1/4 cup cheese (grated)
Lettuce
Houmous (hommus)
Mayonnaise or sour cream
Lets Get Making!
Lay your flat bread out flat and spread half with houmous and the other half with mayonaise or sour cream.
Place ham across one side then layer with carrot, cheese and lastly the lettuce.
Roll up tight and wrap in lunch wrap to hold it all in place.
Keep in the refrigerator, until it is packed into the lunch box. Pack with a ice brick or frozen drink.

Wow I thought my kids wouldn’t go for the hommus but I was wrong they love it. Well Done Cathy.
